International Premiere
Documentary Feature | Denmark | 2025 | Danish | 78 minutes
Denmark is consistently ranked the best country in the world for women, who seem to have it all: better grades, better jobs, better parenting skills. So… where does that leave the men? In this humorous and affectionate study of dynamics within Danish relationships, questions and assumptions around gender roles are explored through a charmingly progressive and playful lens. While some moments unfold as if in a utopia of feminist progress, others highlight the struggles men face when their masculinity is challenged. No one knows exactly how any society will reach true gender equality, but patience, empathy—and being nice—will hopefully help us get there.
A Q&A with directors Josefine Exner and Sebastian Gerdes is expected to follow both screenings.
