Morrisa Maltz’s (THE UNKNOWN COUNTRY) latest feature captures childhood friendship's euphoric highs and familiar lows, as Jazzy navigates the challenges of growing up with her peers in South Dakota. Filmed over six years and based on real stories from its two young leads (Jasmine Bearkiller Shangreux and Syriah Fool Head Means), the film follows Jazzy and Syriah as they deal with family tensions and dramatic changes in their friendship, including Syriah eventually moving away. Executive produced by Academy Award® nominee Lily Gladstone and the Duplass brothers, JAZZY is a breezy and loving portrait of girlhood.
Scheduled to attend: Elliott Whitton (producer), John Way (producer)
