Golden Globe® Award and Emmy® Award nominee Rose Byrne ('Damages') gives a wrenching, career-defining performance as Montauk therapist Linda, an overwhelmed mother whose life is crashing down around her. As she attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her own therapist (Conan O’Brien), she becomes desperate for some kind of relief from her difficult reality. Director Mary Bronstein delivers a harrowing, surreal ride through Linda’s psyche, vividly excavating anxieties around motherhood and the impossible expectations we place on ourselves. An A24 Films release.
Writer/director Mary Bronstein is expected to be in attendance for both screenings.
